James Harrison Obituary

James Michael-Quinn Harrison, 18 of Worth Twp, Grove City, passed away on October 5, 2023. James was born in Grove City on Aug 11, 2005 to Weston Quinn Harrison and Michaela Lee Norris Harrison. He was a 2023 graduate of Lakeview High School.

While a student James was a member of the Sailors Football Team and participated in Track & Field, throwing shot-put & discus. He loved admiring cars of any age and style, being outdoors fishing, and playing video games online with his friends. Most of all, he loved his family. James will be remembered as an outstanding son, brother, nephew, cousin, and community member. He was known for his sense of humor, his wit, and his loving and caring personality. He will be missed by many.

James was a member of the Church of the Beloved Disciple Roman Catholic Church, Grove City.

James is survived by his parents: Weston & Michaela Harrison of Grove City, sister Savannah Harrison and brother Trenton Harrison both of Grove City, maternal grandparents: Rose & Michael Norris of Grove City, paternal grandpa: Donald (Kathy) Harrison of Stoneboro, paternal great-grandmother: Shirley Nagel of Stoneboro, 4 aunts: Dorothy Switzer of Stoneboro; Valerie (Joe) Schlabach of Cochranton; Kayla Harrison of Stoneboro; and Monica (Tyler) Hoffman of Stoneboro, numerous dear cousins, and his pet rabbit: Pancakes.

James was preceded in death by his paternal grandma: Sandy Harrison, paternal great-grandparents: Duane Harrison and Harold & Joyce Grostic, maternal great-grandparents: Millard & Dorothy Wilson and William & Priscilla Norris.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where visitation will be from 3 pm – 7 pm on Tuesday, October 10. A Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 11, at 11 am at the Church of the Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center Street Ext. Grove City, PA 16127, with Fr. David Foradori, celebrating. Meet at the funeral home at 10 am to join the procession to church.

Memorials may be made in James’ name to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
