Mary Candace (Candy) Brann

Mary Candace (Candy) Brann, 79, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023.

She was born April 25, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of Donald J. and Nancy Foote Belcher.

Candy worked in the Admissions Office of Hiram College for several years and was a licensed Real Estate agent in Ohio. She and her beloved dog Archie touched many lives providing therapy to numerous people in the area, especially patients at Barco Oncology Institute. They additionally enjoyed spending time with children at Margaret Shontz Memorial Library.

She was the beloved mother of Scott Brann (Mary), Wendi Waid (Todd), and Mark Brann (Julie); cherished grandmother of Michele Lillard (Clay), Alyssa Peck (Matt), Louis Brann, Catherine Brann, Olivia Brann, Ava Waid, Charles Waid, and Ella Brann; devoted great-grandmother of Lilly, Gianna, Rose, and Bridget Peck and Zoey and Lucy Lillard.  Additionally survived by brothers, Matt Belcher (Emily), Mark Belcher (Anne Marie), and Neil Belcher; former husband, James (Pete) Brann; nieces; nephews; and beloved dog Archie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Helen Stacey Belcher; sister, Marilyn Whisman; and fiancé, Jon Layer.

Private services will be held at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, PA with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas officiating.
