Mildred “Millie” Grine Roll, 88 of Stoneboro, passed away on February 24, 2024 at AHN – Grove City. Millie was born in Slippery Rock on August 26, 1935 to the late Raymond and Nellie (Spence) Grine. She was a 1953 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 1957 graduate of Slippery Rock Teachers College, earning her BS in Education. She began her career teaching at Moniteau Middle School. Through her years she worked as a substitute teacher at many area schools while raising her children. She was a very talented tennis player and was an instructor for over 40 years.
