Milly M. Jaffe

Milly M. Jaffe, 88, of Meadville and formerly of Erie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Juniper Village surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 11, 1934, in Homestead, a daughter of the late Michael and Susan Bashista Miller.  She married Roy Jaffe December 17, 1970, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Valerie Schoenhouse Smith (Ron) of Cochranton and Gary Schoenhouse (Lisa) of Nashville, TN; two stepchildren, Stephen Jaffe of Newnan, GA and Paula Plaster (Ed) of Ocala, FL; eight grandchildren, Nikki Gunther Loe, Jonathan Gunther (Brit), Matthew Schoenhouse, Ben Schoenhouse, Nick Schoenhouse, Ed Plaster, Jr. (Chau), Kristen Palmer (Andy), and Blane Jaffe; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Per Milly’s wishes, she has donated her body to science and a celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
